It’s estimated that one out of every two people in a given congregation has personally been impacted by suicide. To address the need for suicide prevention education in faith communities, Soul Shop trains faith community leaders on the topic of suicide. Soul Shop will equip participants with the information and guidance they need to facilitate healing within their community.
Brenda Williams-Denbo, of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Tennessee, joins the Courage Cast to talk about this very important topic and shares a workshop dedicated to arming people of faith with guidance on how to minister to those in suicidal desperation.
More information about Soul Shop can be found at www.soulshopmovement.org.
